  4.              Before running KeyBoard Coach for the first time, make sure 
  5.         that you are familiar with the contents of this file.
  6.  
  7.              KeyBoard Coach  requires the following  minumum  requirements:
  8.  
  9.              MS-DOS release 3 or later
  10.              
  11.              720 KB OF FREE DISK SPACE. This can be free space on a 
  12.              hard disk, two 360 kb 5.25 inch disk  drives,  one 3.5 inch 
  13.              disk drive, or one 1.2 meg or one 1.44 meg disk drive. 
  14.  
  15.              A COLOR MONITOR. This can be CGA, EGA or VGA.
  16.  
  17.              YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS IN THE CONFIG.SYS
  18.         FILE ON YOUR BOOT DISK OR THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF YOUR HARD DISK:
  19.                       FILES = 15
  20.                       BUFFERS = 25
  21.              These are minumum requirements. If the number of Files and 
  22.         Buffers specified in your config.sys exceeds these numbers that's 
  23.         fine. If you don't have enough files it is a simple procedure to 
  24.         add the above statements to your CONFIG.SYS file. Simply load your
  25.         current CONFIG.SYS file (found in the root directory of your
  26.         hard disk or boot-up diskette) into your favorite word
  27.         processor and add the above lines. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE FILE
  28.         IN THE ASCII FORMAT (there will instructions on saving an
  29.         ASCII file in your word processor). DOS 5 users can use the
  30.         EDIT program that came with DOS 5. EDIT automatically saves
  31.         in the ASCII format.

  34.              Before running the INSTALL program make sure that the following 
  35.         files are in the drive/directory that you will start the program 
  36.         from:
  37.            1 - INSTALL.exe
  38.            2 - KCF.exe        
  39.            3 - HELPFILE.kcf   
  40.            4 - TITLE.SCN
  41.            5 - The schedule file appropriate to your league (ie. sched6.xxx 
  42.              for a 6 team league, sched12.xxx for a 12 team league).
  43.            6 - USASTAT        (necessary only if you are using automatic 
  44.                              updates)
  45.  
  46.              In the registered version you will also need:
  47.              GM.EXE         (the General Manager's program)
  48.  
  49.              If disk space is a problem (you are using two 360kb floppies),
  50.              GM.EXE and USASTAT.EXE can be placed on the data diskette
  51.              that you will use in your B: drive.

  57.              KeyBoard Coach Fantasy Football (hereafter referred to as 
  58.         KeyBoard Coach) is copyrighted software - it is not now and never 
  59.         has been in the public domain.
  60.              Every release of KeyBoard Coach comes in two versions, the 
  61.         ShareWare or Evaluation Version and the Registered Version.
  62.              The ShareWare Version of KeyBoard Coach is intended for 
  63.         evaluation purposes. The ShareWare Version is fully enabled so that 
  64.         all areas of the program may be tested. Registered users receive a 
  65.         free copy of the program KeyBoard Coach General Manager which makes 
  66.         player trades and allows you to sign free agents.
  67.             The ShareWare Version of KeyBoard Coach may be copied and 
  68.        distributed to others subject to the following conditions:
  69.             No charge may be made for KeyBoard Coach itself. Any fees 
  70.       collected for the sale of diskettes containing KeyBoard Coach must be 
  71.       clearly stated as being for materials and/or handling charges. The cost 
  72.       of the disk containing KeyBoard Coach may not exceed $15.00.
  73.            All files included on the original distribution disk must be 
  74.       included when the program is distributed or "uploaded" to a "bulletin 
  75.       board". These files are:
  76.              KCF.exe        (KeyBoard Coach the program)
  77.              HELPFILE.kcf   (the help file)
  78.              KCF.doc        (the manual)
  79.              TITLE.scn      (the title screen)
  80.              INSTALL.exe    (the setup program)
  81.              README.1st     (this file)
  82.              USASTAT.EXE    (the automatic stat update utility)

  90.            McS Custom Software reserves the right to prohibit certain
  91.       individuals or companies form distributing KeyBoard Coach. If we chose 
  92.       to excercise this right the individuals or companies will be notified 
  93.       by certified letter.

  96.    Before installing this or ANY new software, you should back up any
  97.    valuable data on your computer system. KeyBoard Coach has been thoroughly
  98.    tested on different systems and is believed to be reliable and
  99.    non-harmful. However, no one can ever be totally sure of the effect
  100.    a program will have on every computer. You as the user are completely
  101.    responsible for determining the fitness or usability of KeyBoard Coach
  102.    Fantasy Football. McS Custom Software will not be liable for
  103.    damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost sales or profits
  104.    arising from any failure of this package to perform as expected.

  109.    KeyBoard Coach's registration price is $35.00. Registered users get the 
  110.    latest release of the registered version of KeyBoard Coach. In addition 
  111.    you will receive the lastest version of the KeyBoard Coach GENERAL 
  112.    MANAGER'S DISK which allows you to trade players or sign free agents. You 
  113.    will also be entitled to any upgrades of KeyBoard Coach without charge 
  114.    other than shipping & handling costs.
